Customer Review :
Works, but needs more gain. Volume is way to low. : PIE TOY03-AUX Auxiliary Input Converter for Toyota Radios
This adapter works perfectly! I installed it in an 05 Corolla LE with a JBL single disc player no sat and my wife is totally happy, now she can listen to her Kindle audio books on the way to work (55 mi 1 way), can also play my MP3 or any other aux audio device. I just went to you tube to find an install video and whoop! there it was, a couple of them, both very informative. I installed the input jack on the console up by the shifter knob slightly to the right, very pro looking and a very convenient location. My wife was impressed, no garbage or funky hookup or dangling wires. I'm not quite clear what some of the other guys are complaining about the volume being either high or low, mine seems to be pretty close to radio or cd and the signal is sooo crystal clear, absolutely no hum or static. I played my $25 Coby mp3 with various cd's/downloaded music from classic rock to alternative country and I'm very impressed with the quality, actually now I can really enjoy the quality of the JBL system, it had always sounded a little lackluster but now I'm getting a real defined and robust sound, of course my wife won't notice the sound upgrade......haha! Food for thot all my adapters and interconnects were purchased online for a few bucks per except the audio input cable, it was the most expensive (about $8) but overall I've got less than $100 invested plus about 1 1/2 hrs of time. For my application I am totally satisfied and would recommend to anybody with a toy cor, good luck and TURN IT UP!
